De Moor is a family Distillery where, since 1910, passion and craftmanship never has been compromised.
This Single-Estate distillery controls and fine-tunes every step in the production process from grain to spirit, resulting in small-batch masterpieces.
Besides distilling premium-award winning spirits e.g., Lindemans Clear & Red Gin, the Master distiller Patrick Van Schandevijl also created his personal inspired State-of-the-Art Limited-Edition Gins: Flemish Gin 23 and Heart of Flemish Gin 23.
10 Years of traditional craftmanship was needed to master the flavours and the importance of every single drop in the distillation process to be able to bring both Gins to perfection.
This hard work was immediately awarded by a 5star (FG23) and 5star+ (Heart of FG23) rating by the “Difford’s Guide for Spirits”. The highest possible rating.
The “Difford’s Guide for Spirits” is comparable to the “Michelin Guide” for restaurants.
The “FG23” is made in a 200-litre batch, while the exclusive & unique “Heart of FG23” is only made in 25-litre batches by using the “Coeur de Chauffe” principle.
Each bottle is filled and labelled by hand.
